This weekend, we backed something new: Frontier Club AI Meetup #1 in Da Nang, Vietnam.

A month ago, Laksh and the rest of the Frontier Club founders asked ourselves a simple question: what do builders actually want from an AI event?

The answer was not complicated. People want to come and build. They want talks that genuinely help them improve their workflow. They want to see how someone really works, not the polished version. The answer was clear enough that Cipher Projects jumped in to help make it real.

A room full of people who actually build

So this past weekend, Cipher Projects sponsored AI Meetup #1 alongside Yobeve Protein Bars and Your Event Kit. The result was a room full of founders, builders, and makers showing each other what they are actually working on.

No keynote theater. No filler. Just people opening their laptops, walking through real workflows, and trading notes on what works and what does not.

The lineup covered everything from AI workflows and marketing to squeezing the most out of cost-to-productivity, and yes, even building houses out of Mac Minis:

Each talk leaned into the real version of the work. Live editors, real model routing, actual cost numbers, and the messy middle that usually gets cut from a polished deck.
